LATEST | Patrik Allvin announces last minute roster movement confirming Di Giuseppe's injury
There still hasn't been an official diagnostic on Phil Di Giuseppe, but Rick Tocchet was reasonably confident he'd be out for a while.
The Canucks announced a call-up ahead of the team's 7-game road trip that confirmed he wouldn't be up for business. In that line of thought, Patrik Allvin called up the forward Linus Karlsson from their AHL affiliate:
'General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that F Linus Karlsson has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL).''
The forward has managed an impressive 23 points in 25 games with the Abbotsford Canucks and has yet to collect his first NHL point. If the Canucks tend to be buyers once the deadline comes, he could be an excellent selling asset.
