LATEST | Patrik Allvin announces roster movement: Six players called-up
Training camps around the American Hockey League are getting underway this week, with Abbotsford opening up theirs on Wednesday.
Despite that, Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin has called up six players from Abbotsford with nine hours before they take to the ice against the Seattle Kraken.
Here are the six players Allvin has called up:
Arturs Silovs (G)
Filip Johansson (D)
Max Sasson (F)
Aatu Raty (F)
Linus Karlsson (F)
Arshdeep Bains (F)
The Canucks are taking on the Kraken in Abbotsford on Wednesday night, so given that those players are already there and so they don't have to suit up as many regulars with the regular season a week away, the majority of the six listed above will see game action tonight, although it's not confirmed yet.
It's also likely that all six players will be assigned back to Abbotsford on Thursday morning, that way they'll be able to be full participants in the AHL training camp, which runs from today until Saturday.
Puck drop for tonight's game in Abbotsford between the two Pacific Northwest rivals is set for 7 p.m. PT.
