The Canucks made came out with the win in an outstanding team effort against the Predators in Nashville. The team furnished a complete effort and added to their current streak. The goals came from every line and Casey DeSmith stood tall in front of his cage.
TOCCHET IDENTIFIES THE GAME BREAKER IN NASHVILLE
Just over a year ago, it seemed as if the only the Canucks could hope to win was to outscore their defensive woes, and from what we've seen thus far this season, it's been quite the contrary.
Tocchet's systems have been difference-makers in the Canucks overall game. Tonight, he highlighted how the team applied the methods to overcome the Preds' different attacks:
«I just like the way [the team] played defence. They're protecting the middle...I think we defended really well tonight.»
