The Canucks have been hitting hard on the trade market since the season started. They've made critical acquisitions to their line-up, and they've helped take the team to the next level.

INCOMING CONTRACTS EXTENSION DRIVING TYLER MYERS OUT OF TOWN?

Filip Hronek, Nikita Zadorov, Ian Cole, Teddy Blueger, Sam Lafferty and Dakota Joshua will all be needing new contracts and based on wishful thinking, these extensions could take up to $5.36M on the Canucks' salary cap.

The salary cap increase will most likely be on Elias Pettersson's next deal, meaning that the Canucks will be left with close to no money once again.

As stated, this is wishful thinking, Filip Hronek will most likely not be inking a new deal at only $6M, but the Canucks could opt to not renew one of Zadorov or Cole since they've already got two other left handed defensemen on their pay roll for next year (Quinn Hughes/Carson Soucy).

Given that Tom Willander is most likely graduating from the NCAA to the NHL at the end of the year. Myers' departure would open up a roster spot for the Canucks' latest first round selection.
