Some names have emerged in trade rumours in recent days that could be of interest to the Vancouver Canucks.

The team is looking to add both a top four defenceman and another top six forward, and there's been no shortage of discussion around names like Jake Guentzel, Sean Monahan, and Chris Tanev.

David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, however, suggests a new pair of names that the Canucks may be interested in.

Pagnotta has listed Colton Parayo at #3 on his trade watch list, with the insider saying the Blues are exploring trade options for the 30 year old.

The towering defenceman plays nearly 24 minutes a game and is on the 2nd of an 8 year deal that pays him $6.5 million per year.

And if Seattle, who sit 3 points outside of the final wild card spot, fall further out of the playoff race, Pagnotta says Jordan Eberle could become available.

Eberle is scoring at close to a 50 point pace after a strong 63 point campaign last season, he would add scoring to the Canucks top six at a lower cost than adding someone like Jake Guentzel.

There may be more options for the Canucks on the trade market than previously reported.
