According to Rick Dhaliwal of 'Donnie & Dhali', Canucks defenceman Tucker Poolman will not be joining the team for training camp and all indications point towards him being placed on long-term injured reserve once again.
This news, while not shocking, is certainly not ideal for the Canucks and must be frustrating from Tucker Poolman's perspective, given he hasn't played in an NHL game since October 2022.
Poolman was initially injured in a game against Philadelphia on October 15th of last season, returning to the lineup three days later against the Columbus Blue Jackets before being placed on LTIR for the remainder of the 2022-23 campaign.
Since signing a four-year deal with the Vancouver Canucks in the summer of 2021, Poolman has only appeared in 43 games where he's tallied four points (one goal, three assists), 12 penalty minutes and was a plus-three.
It's unclear what the future of Tucker Poolman's playing career looks like, but everyone here at CanucksDaily hopes he's able to return from his undisclosed injury at some point down the road.
"I was told he's not going to be at camp.."
