Tocchet mixing things up: The end of Hronek and Hughes
With Carson Soucy going down with yet another injury against Toronto on Saturday, the Canucks will try out a much different look on the blue line.
Based on the Canucks morning skate lines, Noah Juulsen looks like he'll return to the lineup, but Rick Tocchet is making a bigger change at the top of the D pairings.
For the first time this season, Quinn Hughes and Filip Hronek will be split up.
There have been calls to see Hronek moved off of Quinn Hughes' pair for some time, with the 26 year old pacing for about 70 points and a significant raise expected, many fans want to see how he handles carrying his own pairing away from the Canucks captain.
Tonight against Chicago looks to be the first chance to see how Hronek fares with that challenge.
