BREAKING | Tocchet's final decision has been made: Arshdeep Bains plays, veterans paying the price
It has been made official that the undrafted rookie Arshdeep Bains will make his NHL debut in Denver. Bains took the traditional rookie lap during the warmup's very first moments.
Bains was seen taking line rushed alongside Teddy Blueger and Conor Garland. He'll be expected to start the game on their left.
However, bringing him in does mean that Tocchet will have to send a player to the press box, and everything points to Sam Lafferty as the one to pay the price. Ilya Mikheyev has been relegated to the fourth line in that occurrence.
