Brock Boeser Finally Addresses the Ongoing "Drama" Between Him and His Head Coach Rick Tocchet

Canucks sports writers and reporters will do anything for a head line or to stir the pot, and they are certainly trying to do this when it comes to Brock Boeser not wearing the "A" (assistant captain) letter on his jersey, a choice made by head coach Rick Tocchet.

With the injury to their captain Quinn Hughes, Tocchet has the option to give out an extra "A" to any player on the team, which has been seen worn by Elias Pettersson, Tyler Myers and 9-year veteran star Brock Boeser all season long.

But, amid the outcome of the trade deadline, where he was supposed to be traded it was rumored that Brock Boeser was stripped of the letter, amid additionally with an ongoing conflict the man behind the bench.

But, as Tocchet already said, he did not disrespect a loved leader and team mate within the locker room, he had a valid reason for not giving him the "A".

He has chosen to implement a rotation for the letter, giving other players an opportunity to wear it on their jersey.

Analysts and reporters have decided to ignore this fact and are still creating rumors and drama to stir the pot.

Boeser decided to speak to the media today and put all those rumors to rest, stating that it did not bother him in the slightest to not be denoted as an alternate captain.

The larger issue at hand is that even with the issues the Canucks have gone through this season, the members of the media, who are supposed to be on their side are becoming major players into trying to divide the team.
