The Vancouver Canucks reached the 100-point plateau on Sunday for the first time since the 2014-15 season thanks to a two-goal performance from forward Dakota Joshua, who is having a breakout campaign.

After the win over the Anaheim Ducks, Joshua was interviewed by TNT and was asked by Paul Bissonnette what he's done differently to prepare for this season, in what's been a breakout for him.

"I think the biggest thing is comfortability and confidence. To get my first full year under my belt last year and have Toc come in at the end and just show me a few things. The whole coaching staff has done a great job with my improvement and growth. Just listening to those guys and day-by-day just working hard and like I said, confidence is big in this league, so when you have it, you want to run with it and when you don't have it, you've got to find it."

The 27-year-old has been able to find his stride in Vancouver ever since joining the organization as an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2022 and will play a key role in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, which start later this month.

In 55 games this season, Joshua has 28 points (13 goals, 15 assists), 46 penalty minutes and is a plus-16. His goal, assist and point totals this season are all new career-highs for the Dearborn, Michigan native.

Joshua is in the final year of his two-year deal he signed with Vancouver in 2022 and is set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st, however, there's no doubt the Canucks will want to get him under contract for 2024-25 and potentially beyond, as soon as possible.
