LATEST | Bedard snaps after Avalanche player tries to take a pound of flesh
Connor Bedard is getting the star treatment in his rookie season - that is, his opponents trying to injure him.
The Avalanche trampled the Chicago Blackhawks 5-0 on Thursday night, and defenceman Josh Manson decided that wasn't enough as he caught the BC native with a nasty slash to the hand, he was later seen briefly losing his cool on the bench.
Former Canuck employee Rachel Doerrie called it a clear intent to injure on the league's newest young star.
24 hours later, and it doesn't seem like Manson will face any kind of fine or suspension for the play.
Thankfully, Bedard wasn't injured on the play.
