The Canucks failed to show up when the Kings visited the Rogers Arena earlier this week. Ever since Dakota Joshua got sidelined with an injury, Tocchet's had issues finding the right mix with his forwards.

As they prepare to hit the ice in Anaheim, everything indicates that he'll be swapping his forward lines again.

Höglander. Pettersson. Suter.
Mikheyev. Miller. Boeser.
PDG. Lindholm. Garland.
man. Blueger. Lafferty.

Hughes. Hronek.
Zadorov. Juulsen.
Cole. Friedman.
Soucy.

(Brisebois not participating in line rushes)

It obviously didn't go unnoticed that Carson Soucy was a full participant in the team's practice. While it was confirmed that he won't be playing in Anaheim, Tocchet once again reiterated that he was getting close to returning:

Soucy fully involved in full practice today. Now doing PK work against PP1

The big guns were also back on the first power play unit, Tocchet added Conor Garland to Elias Pettersson, J.T. Miller, Brock Boeser and Quinn Hughes.

The Canucks also recalled Vasily Podkolzin and Matt Irwin late last night. I'd expect Irwin to be coming as a visitor, but it wouldn't be a surprise if Podkolzin was put into action straight away. The Russian has done well in the AHL and his attributes could benefit the Canucks big time.
