MAJOR | Insider makes a wild bet regarding Phil Kessel and the Canucks
It's no longer a secret or a rumor, Phil Kessel was spotted in Vancouver last night and the Canucks were forced to issue statement revealing the reasons for his impromptu visit.
Kessel skated for the first time today with the Abbotsford Canucks and it would be a safe bet to assume that he'll see some ice with the Canucks up in Vancouver. Darren Dreger was on OverDrive earlier and made quite the bet on what Kessel's arrival in Vancouver meant:
I would put the money on Canucks signing him to a contract.
According to Dreger, this is already sealed and delivered.
There are no clear indications from either parties as to what the next steps are going to be be. We know that Kessel has given his first strides under the Canucks' Colors, we'll be waiting to hear more from the Canucks as we get closer to a verdict.
