The Canucks announced a two-year extension for their rising star moments ago, at this moment confirming his return. Arturs Silovs inked a two-year deal worth $1.7M.
General Manager Patrik Allvin announces that the #Canucks have agreed to terms with goaltender Artūrs �ilovs on a 2-year contract.
Silovs's signing a contract with a $0.85M cap hit is ideal for the club and also a heck of a bargain. At the moment, Allvin expects a two-person battle between Silovs and Jiri Patera to be the goaltender behind Thatcher Demko.
