P.K. Subban in deep waters after sharing a controversial comedy sketch on social media

Former NHL defenseman and Norris Trophy winner P.K. Subban has never shied away from the spotlight, and with that, has never shied away from being at the center of controversy, and now he is in the middle of another one.

On his personal social media X account (formally Twitter), Subban has been called out by fans who are outraged for the type of content he is reposting/sharing. In the video provided below, Subban shared it with his followers where it showing a sketch that is making fun of the safety protocols that we had to endure during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Below the video, you can clearly see all of the different reactions (mostly outrage) that is flooding his comment section. But there is one that stuck out from the rest that really painted the picture of how insensitive a video like this could be.

"My sister would be seen doing that when she was coming to pick me up - I have a myriad of health issues and have tried hard to not get COVID. She was helping to keep me safe & healthy. It's really sad that she'd be mocked for it. And by someone who used to care about sick kids."

"C'mon, PK, be better than that. Don't retweet anti-vaxxer, conspiracy theorists who try to mask their bullcrap with memes."

"Why can't people just leave people alone? Why does anyone care if someone wore a mask alone in a car? You don't know what their anxieties are. Maybe they just forgot it was on.
The real issue is that people care what others do with their lives.
Grow up."
