Sportsnet has made a statement on their social media accounts involving Quinn Hughes and J.T. Miller of the Vancouver Canucks.

It was a big year for the Vancouver Canucks as they finished at the top of the Pacific Division standings and second in the Western Conference despite many predicting before the season that they'd only be in the mix for a wild card spot.

Several players on the Canucks' roster had career-years during the 2023-24 season, and among those were captain Quinn Hughes, as well as J.T. Miller, who has been very consistent with production since joining Vancouver back in 2019.

In a post on X on Thursday, Sportsnet shared the top-ten American scorers from the 2023-24 campaign, with J.T. Miller (103) and Quinn Hughes (92) coming in at second and third, respectively, only behind Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews who finished the year with 107 points and 69 goals.

"Here are the top 10 American scorers from the 2023-24 NHL season. 👀"

Another American-born Vancouver Canuck who had a strong year was Brock Boeser, who was one point off of tenth place on Sportsnet's list. The Burnsville, Minnesota native had the best season of his NHL career in 2023-24, registering 73 points (40 goals, 33 assists), 14 penalty minutes, and a plus-23 in 81 games.

It will be interesting to see what Boeser, Hughes and Miller all have in store for the 2024-25 season, but expect them to pick up where they left off and have strong offensive outputs once again.
