Team Sweden has New York Rangers forward Mika Zibanejad on the first line over Elias Pettersson
When the starting lineup was released to the public, some people were quite shocked that they had Rangers froward Mika Zibanejad playing on the 1st line over Elias Pettersson.

According to
StatMuse, in the past 5 seasons, Elias Pettersson has played almost 40 less games but has produced almost identical numbers.
In 355 games, Zibanejad has 129 goals and 202 for 331 points, while EP40 has 126 goals and 188 assists for 314 points in 38 less games.
A major factor adding that adds value to Pettersson on the 1st line over Zibanejad is their defensive stats and their 200 foot game.
Pettersson has more blocked shots, more hits and most importantly over 100 less give aways (160 vs. 269).
The fact off the matter is that both players are elite threats at both ends of the ice, but the fact that the media has played a part of putting Zibanejad on the 1st line over EP40 is a major oversight.
