Time is up - Elias Pettersson Ends 4 Nations Face-Off with Glaring Disappointment

While Team Sweden was able to pull out their first and only win of the 4 Nations Faceoff over Team USA on Monday, Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson was unable to turn around his disappointing tournament.
Team Sweden was the only team without a win in the tournament coming into Monday's final round robin games, and the play of Elias Pettersson had been a great concern for Sweden.
Elias Pettersson leaves 4 Nations pointless
While the 4 Nations could have been an opportunity for Pettersson to shine, it was anything but.
Team Sweden picked up their first and only win over Team USA on Monday night at the 4 Nations Faceoff, with USA electing to rest both Matthew Tkachuk and Auston Matthews for precautionary reasons having already secured their spot in Thursday's final.
While Team Sweden brought their A-game in the victory, Canucks forward Elias Pettersson continued his disappointing showing at the 4 Nations.
The star forward was used sparingly in his country's 2-1 victory.
Elias Pettersson finished 4 Nations with zero points in three games and played fewer than 10 minutes tonight for Sweden in their only win of the tournament - Frank Seravalli
While Seravalli refers to Pettersson as a trade target, the Canucks have reportedly told teams EP40 is unavailable after dealing J.T. Miller to the Rangers.
While Pettersson's struggles are a disappointment to Sweden and the Vancouver Canucks who hoped his game could be sparked by the tournament - former Canuck J.T Miller also failed to record a point in the round robin games.
