Vancouver Canucks forward Conor Garland breaks silence on superstar Elias Pettersson

With all of the criticism flooding towards superstar forward Elias Pettersson as his start of the season has been less than stellar, Vancouver Canucks forward Conor Garland has broken his silence on the issues surrounding EP40.
Connor Garland has been the Canucks best and most consistent forward so far this season and has completely outgrown the third line and is now getting his opportunity to play in the top-6.
With the way Garland plays the game being an undersized player, he has grown to become a huge leader on the Vancouver Canucks, and as head coach Rick Tocchet puts it "the teams voice of reason".

It is no surprise that fans and media have been on Pettersson's back, as he signed a massive contract has not played up to it one bit this season. It also doesn't help that playing in the Vancouver market players are under intense scrutiny. Conor Garland has stepped up to help Elias Pettersson through his struggles.

He continued to talk about the difficulties of playing for Vancouver but talked about in a positive way, that you want to play for a city that cares, and he wants Elias Pettersson to understand it is a privilege to play for this team, not a burden.
