Thanks to a hat-trick from Jake DeBrusk and 27 saves on 31 shots from Kevin Lankinen, the Vancouver Canucks went on to defeat the Detroit Red Wings in overtime by a score of 5 to 4, moving to 4-1-0 on their current road trip.
With the win, Kevin Lankinen has set a National Hockey League record, becoming the first goaltender ever to start a season with a 10-0-0 record on the road.
