The Vancouver Canucks may be focused on the task at hand on the ice, but off the ice, renewing season tickets for the 2025-26 season has begun and fans aren't happy with the increased price.

It's not easy to attend a National Hockey League game no matter what market you're in and if you're a fan of a Canadian team, ticket prices are through the roof, leaving most supporters on the outside.

Vancouver Canucks ticket prices set to rise for 2025-26 season

For the fifth season in a row, Vancouver Canucks ticket prices are set to rise and if you're a season ticket holder that was sent a renewal email by the organization lately, you're probably not too happy at the moment.
Ryan Henderson, the producer for Donnie & Dhali, shared an image on his social media from a friend of his that has season tickets in the 300 level at Rogers Arena.
The image showed the increases in ticket prices year-by-year since the 2016-17 season and while season ticket costs may have come down slightly after COVID, they've skyrocketed since.
When fans returned to the building for the 2021-22 season, Vancouver Canucks fans sitting in section 304 would have paid $4,625.90 CAD for a season ticket and flash forward to next season and that price has jumped by over $2,000 to a whopping $6,900.
Rob Williams of Daily Hive reached out to the Vancouver Canucks following reports of ticket prices rising and the club confirmed that those increases are necessary due to their expenses going up.
The Canucks said to Williams that their expenses are increasing as well, which includes player salaries, with the club wanting to spend to the cap ceiling in order to remain competitive, and even arena upgrades (new seats finally coming next season) and fixing the quality of the ice surface at Rogers Arena.
"The team pointed out that its expenses are going up too, which includes player salaries, as the Canucks remain committed to spending to the salary cap." Williams said.

He added, "Well yes, those 30-year-old maroon seats will finally be replaced this summer, the Canucks confirmed."

We'll have to wait until late in the summer, probably mid-to-late August, before we hear anything about single game tickets, but if season ticket prices are any indication, Vancouver Canucks fans are going to have to reach deeper into their wallets to attend games in 2025-26.
