Vancouver Canucks Trade Talks with Carolina Hurricanes for Brock Boeser Intensifying

Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser is expected to be on the move today and it looks like one team has emerged as a potential landing spot.
The Carolina Hurricanes have been quite active today on the trade market, dealing forward Mikko Rantanen to the Dallas Stars in exchange for forward Logan Stankoven and a pair of first round picks, along with other smaller pieces involved and it doesn't look like they're done yet.

Just after 9 am PT, Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff shared on X that trade talks are picking up on Brock Boeser with the expectation that he's dealt before the deadline.
"Sounds like trade talks are picking up on #Canucks Brock Boeser.
Nothing imminent at the moment, but more likely than not that Boeser is on the move before 3pm ET." Seravalli said.

According to Rick Dhaliwal of Donnie & Dhali, one team to keep an eye on regarding Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser is the Carolina Hurricanes.
"Keep an eye on Carolina." Dhaliwal said.
Boeser, a native of Burnsville, Minnesota, has spent his entire career to this point with the Vancouver Canucks after they selected him with the 23rd overall pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
In 533 games with the Vancouver Canucks, Boeser has 421 points (197 goals, 224 assists), 142 penalty minutes and is a minus-27.
This season, Boeser has registered 37 points (18 goals, 19 assists), 16 penalty minutes and is a minus-20 in 54 games.
The Vancouver Canucks and Brock Boeser haven't been able to come to terms on a contract extension, which ultimately led to the situation the club is in today and despite only being one point out of a playoff spot, it looks like his time with the organization is coming to a close today.
