Former Vancouver Canucks forward Andrei Kuzmenko is reportedly heading back to the West Coast after spending a little over a month in Philadelphia.

Just before 9 am PT, Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman revealed that the Los Angeles Kings were acquiring former Vancouver Canucks forward Andrei Kuzmenko from the Philadelphia Flyers.
"Sounds like Andrei Kuzmenko from PHI to LA" Friedman said.
The return for Andrei Kuzmenko, who's set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st, is a third round pick in the 2027 NHL Entry Draft, according to Daily Faceoff's Frank Seravalli.

Chris Johnston of TSN added that are also sending a seventh round pick in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft with Andrei Kuzmenko to Los Angeles and will be retaining 50 percent of his remaining salary this season.
"The #Flyers also send back a 2025 seventh-round pick with Kuzmenko." Johnston said.
He added, "Philadelphia is retaining 50% of Andrei Kuzmenko's salary in the trade with Los Angeles."
In 44 games this season between Calgary and Philadelphia, the Yakutsk, Russia native has put up 20 points (six goals, 14 assists), 12 penalty minutes and is a minus-12.
