Washington Capitals acquire former Vancouver Canuck Anthony Beauvillier
According to Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff, the Washington Capitals have acquired forward Anthony Beauvillier from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick.

Rink Wide: Vancouver's Jeff Paterson pointed on that this will be Anthony Beauvillier's fifth team in the 15 months, going from the Canucks to Chicago to Nashville then to Pittsburgh and now, the Washington Capitals.

Beauvillier, 27, was a first-round pick of the New York Islanders in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft and has appeared in 613 games across nine seasons in the league.
In 63 games this season with the Pittsburgh Penguins, who he signed with as a free agent last summer, the Sorel-Tracy, Quebec native has registered 20 points (13 goals, seven assists), 14 penalty minutes and is a minus-one.
