J.T. Miller leads the team with his intensity and his competitiveness. As the Canucks are playing the Sabres in an early afternoon tilt, J.T. Miller laid a massive hit on the Sabres' superstar defenceman Rasmus Dahlin. Miller had to face some music for it, Owen Power stepped up for his teammate, but wanted nothing to do with the Canucks' number 9:

Miller then came out of the box and the veteran Erik Johnson jumped him in hopes of avenging Dahlin. Miller canalized his anger and showed Johnson how he gets it done:

The Sabres are already down one defenceman since Mattias Samuelson has been ruled out of the game. Dahlin was shook after the sequence, but he eventually made his way back to the game.

Now that Dhalin is back, hopefully the Sabres can stop targeting Hughes.
