Across the pond while we're sound asleep, hockey games a plenty are being played.
They come in all the same varieties as here in North America. Junior hockey, Semi Pro, Pro & of course Country vs. Country best on best.
Exhibit A (eh?) comes to us from a game between Finland & Sweden, this taking place in what I assume is a national tournament or maybe a qualifying game. It wasn't a good one for Team Sweden, as they found themselves down 6-0 but 2022 1st Round selection Jonathan Lekkerimaki was able to register an assist on the single goal to beat Canucks' goalie prospect Aku Koskenvuo.
Shouts out to Chris Faber for the share on his Twitter account.
