Earlier today numerous sources had claimed the Chicago Blackhawks and New York Rangers are in the mix of finalizing a trade to send forward Patrick Kane to the New York Rangers.
But that has yet to made official. However, it looks like a trade for Kane is very imminent as TSN's hockey insider Darren Dreger has reported the Chicago Blackhawks have sent Kane home and he's no longer with the team.
The Blackhawks play the San Jose Sharks tonight at 10 p.m. eastern and its confirmed Patrick Kane won't be in the lineup as the Blackhawks went 11 forwards.
We knew this trade was coming all though it hasn't happened yet hearing Kane has went home and won't ever play for the Blackhawks again is actually sad.
