With the NHL trade deadline now just one week away, all of the playoff teams just got some good news if they're in need of adding a goaltender. Because a good one just became available.
It appears that the Ottawa Senators have placed goaltender Cam Talbot on the trade block ahead of the NHL's trade deadline. The news broke on the Andy Strickland Podcast as they revealed Talbot is available:
"Goaltender Cam Talbot is likely on the move.Vegas, LA, Buffalo. Recently turned down an extension from Ottawa. #GoSensGo"
Talbot has been around the League along time. The 35 year-old is a pending UFA at season's end and currently has a 12-14-1 record with a 2.90 GAA and .905 save percentage.
