Collin Delia was recalled by the Canucks earlier in December when the team's starting goalie got injured. Since then he's proven to be quite the performer, one could even argue that he may have taken the spot as the backup ahead of Spencer Martin.
It is anticipated that he'll be the one riding the pine in Raleigh against the Hurricanes, meaning he would be in the net for a 3rd time in this 5-game road trip. Delia still holds a 3-2-0 record with the big club even. Even though he's had some stellar performances and quite the encounter with J.T. Miller, one thing that's retained a lot of attention in the media was the ongoing mystery of what Delia kept in the containers he dragged with him to the rink.
