It's a good day for a celebration.
That's just what will happen today in Toronto by the same Canucks team who look to win a massive Hockey Night in Canada game on ScotiaBank Ice tonight, live on Rogers Sportsnet. But this celebration isn't about playing hockey.
Today the Canucks top offensive talent & 5th overall pick from 2017 turns one year older, as
Elias Pettersson hits 25 years of age, a time when Athletes are said to begin their 'prime'.
The Canucks' Twitter account wished him a Happy Birthday bright & early on Saturday morning.
If he isn't in his prime yet, that's good news for a franchise desperately looking for some. He's had a great start to the season with 6 Goals & 12 Assists, good for 18 Points in his first 14 games alongside a +4 rating on an awful defensive team.
Bring on 'Prime Petey' if we aren't seeing him already!
