Heavy fight in the AHL
On November 25th, the San Jose Barracuda and the Henderson Silver Knights met in San Jose. Patrick McGrath of the Barracuda, who stands at 5'10'' and a little over 200 pounds, had an encounter with a much bigger player, 6'4'' and 220 pounds Jermaine Loewen.
From the clip, you can tell that McGrath's gloves were the first to fall to the ice. If you take a closer look at his stats you can see that he isn't in the AHL for his scoring abilities. You have to appreciate the fact that he wasn't affraid to get going even though Loewen is twice his size.
McGrath has 27 penalty minutes after 4 games with the Barracuda this season.
