The dynamic defenceman has been excellent ever since he joined the Canucks and already owned multiple franchise records at only 24 years of age. The famous singer didn't hesitate to call the dynamic defenceman the most outstanding player to wear the Canucks uniform:
Hughes is making a statement this year to show his true self. Already known as an elite power-play merchant, his playmaking and skating abilities have been fully displayed through the 62 points he's generated thus far this season. With 33 games left on the season, Hughes is only 14 points shy of breaking his own franchise record for the most points in a season by a defenseman (76).
