LATEST | BC Legend makes a bold statement on Quinn Hughes and his tenure as a Canuck
The Canucks landed the jackpot when they landed Quinn Hughes with the 7th overall pick in 2018. The dynamic defenceman has been excellent ever since he joined the Canucks and already owned multiple franchise records at only 24 years of age. He's taken his play to a new level this season and generated severe talks.
QUINN HUGHES: THE GREATEST CANUCK EVER?
Special guest on Donnie and Dhali earlier today, the legendary singer Michael Buble made an extremely bold statement regarding the current Canucks captain and his tenure as a Canuck. The famous singer didn't hesitate to call the dynamic defenceman the most outstanding player to wear the Canucks uniform:
"I think the greatest player who has played in a #Canucks uniform, in my opinion, is Quinn Hughes.."
Hughes is making a statement this year to show his true self. Already known as an elite power-play merchant, his playmaking and skating abilities have been fully displayed through the 62 points he's generated thus far this season. With 33 games left on the season, Hughes is only 14 points shy of breaking his own franchise record for the most points in a season by a defenseman (76). At his current pace, the captain could reach the 100-point mark, which would only help his case as one of, or as Buble would say, the greatest Canuck ever.
Buble will be The Hughes' (Quinn and Jack) Star captain at the NHL All-Star celebration meant to be held this weekend in Toronto.
