MAJOR | Radko Gudas throws a vicious hit after the whistle's blown and isn't penalized
The Florida Panthers have been this year's offset in the playoffs. They struck big in the first round when they took the Bruins to game 7 and eliminated them in overtime.
Now they're repeating history against the Maple Leafs and this play clearly shows how deep they are in their head. Radko Gudas threw a massive hit on David Kampf who immediately left the game. Looking at the video, it's clear the whistle had blown and Gudas didn't care. It was by definition a hit that should've been called for boarding. Refs turned a blind eye, but so did the Leafs' player who just stood there.
Good news for the Leafs, Kampf made his way back to the team's bench.
This clearly should've been penalized on the ice, while the ref turned a blind eye on this dangerous play, should the league intervene?
