Podcast host suggest crazy rebuild idea for local rising star
The North Vancouver native, Connor Bedard, has been raising eyebrows more then ever since the beginning of the current season. He's established a new record for his point-streak-game when he registered his 49th point in his last 22 matchups in the WHL.
Locally developped, it would be a dream come true for many fans to have a hometown boy in the lineup. Which brings the question: "Would you trade multiple members of the #Canucks' core (Pettersson, Hughes, Demko, Miller, a re-signed Horvat) for Connor Bedard?"
At this point, it almost seems certain that Bedard will go 1st overall, though the team that will have the 1st pick still remains unknown.
Since we're most likely talking about generational talent, like Connor McDavid that's haunting the NHL with his speed and skill, would you pull the trigger on this? If so, at what cost?
