Standout defenseman in Abbotsford name to the All-Star game
Both the NHL and AHL have named their preliminary choices for their respective All-Star. In Vancouver, it had already been announced that Elias Pettersson was going to be their representative, but it was announced earlier today that a stand-out defenseman was representing the baby Nucks.
Christian Wolanin the 27-year-old defenseman, leads all defensemen in the AHL for points and currently sits 3rd amongst all skaters. He currently has an impressive 35 assists and 39 points in only 33 games. Here's the last goal he scored in the NHL:
The AHL all-star will be held on the same weekend as the NHL on February 5th and 6th in Laval, QC.
