TRENDING | Elias Pettersson shared a picture that truly shows his level of commitment
It's not a secret anymore that Elias Pettersson is a beast. The Swede had a monster of a season managing 102 points while being one of the top defensive forward in the game.
The Canucks' season ended early as they were prematurely taken out of playoff contention. Pettersson will be playing the last year of a contract before he becomes a Restricted Free Agent on July 1st, 2024 and the forward is planning on giving it his best to cash in.
While videos of Andrei Kuzmenko have shown the Russian GoalScorer celebrating in good fashion, it's been quite the contrary for the Nucks' star centerman since he wasted no time getting back in the gym as shown by the picture he shared on his social media:
The superstar was looking forward to the World Championship, but an insurance issue will prevent him from participating in the events. While it's bad news for him, the Canucks sure are relieved since it prevents him from getting injured.
Pettersson's switched was turned on when Bruce Boudreau took over from Travis Green, now that Tocchet's in place, it doesn't seem to slow him down. Can he keep it up and register 100 points in back-to-back seasons? Will 100 points be his new standard?
