WOW | Wholesome moment between Andrei Kuzmenko and a fan is lighting up the internet
The Kuzmenkshow joined the Canucks as a free agent last summer and not only has his play been tremendous for the team, but his apport to the community has been just as good.
Canucks' management and the Kuzmenko party agreed to an extension worth $11M over the next two years and without a surprise, the fanbase was very pleased with the decision. Lately a video of
Andrei Kuzmenko taking a snack on the bench, a Pepsi, and a banana during a media timeout. The fans have really been taking advantage of the situation:
Earlier this week we saw a fan go up the glass to trade a stick for a banana. Last night, a committed fan traveled nothing less than 1775 KM to have her shot at a similar trade. The video shows the young fan swapping a Pepsi bottle for one of Kuzmenko's weapons:
Even if you wanted to, you can't hate the player or the person. He's been nothing short of great since arriving in Vancouver. He's on the verge of marking his name on the Canucks' history books, beating Pavel Bure along the way, for the most goal by a first-year player in Vancouver. Bure had managed 34 tallies in 64 games, Kuzmenko added 2 last night and now has 32 after 64 with still a few games on the calendar.
The way it's trending, Kuzmenko is on pace for 41 goals and 75 points this season. Which would put him 4th in team scoring.
