Yesterday, Finnish head coach Antti Pennanen announced that Kevin Lankinen would be getting the start against Canada on Monday after a strong performance against the Swedes on Saturday and now we know who Jon Cooper will counter with.

Starting goaltenders, lineup changes announced for Canada vs Finland

Aside from announcing that Kevin Lankinen would get the start, the Finns have made a change on forward for today's game, inserting Joel Armia of the Montreal Canadiens into the lineup in place of Teuvo Teravainen.
Armia played in Finland's first game against the United States on Thursday, but Antti Pennanen wasn't happy with the two penalties he took and made him a scratch for Saturday's tilt with rivals Sweden.
"Finland will bring back Joel Armiareplacing Teuvo Teravainen" Elliotte Friedman said.
As for Canada, it's still unclear if Cale Makar will be able to suit up today after missing Saturday's loss to the United States due to illness.
Makar has been skating with the team at practice and appears to be heading in the right direction, according to Canadian head coach Jon Cooper, but as of his morning, he's still deemed as a game-time decision.
In between the pipes, Jon Cooper has turned to Jordan Binnington of the St. Louis Blues once again, after starting Canada's two previous games including a big win over Sweden last Wednesday.
"Jordan Binnington vs Finland" Elliotte Friedman said.
Fans on social media haven't been happy with the way Jordan Binnington has performed in the tournament, allowing two goals on Saturday that some are calling "soft", but against the Americans, the Blues netminder stopped 12 of 12 shots high-danger opportunities in the slot.
"Jordan Binnington made 12 stops on 12 shots from the slot against USA. Goals against he'd like back, but he only allowed two and gave Canada a chance to win.
That's why he's starting vs. Finland." Sportsnet's Eric Engels said on X.
Puck drop for today's game between Canada and Finland is set for 10 am PT (1pm local), with pre-game coverage beginning on Sportsnet across the nation at 9:30 am PT (12:30pm local).
