TRADE ALERT | Top prospects involved in massive deal between the Flyers and the Ducks
The Ducks and the Flyers just took everyone by surprise and pulled a massive deal involving nothing less then two top ten prospects.
Elliotte Friedman broke massive news following the trade when he revealed that Gauthier wanted nothing to do with the Flyers:
'Apparently, Philadelphia had a lot of trouble trying to meet with Gauthier at World Juniors. Belief was he preferred not to play there, so Flyers made this deal''
Cutter Gauthier, who just won Gold with team USA at the World Juniors, was the 2022 5th overall pick. Currently playing at Boston College, he has 23 points through the first 17 games this season.
Jamie Drysdale on his end, is a rare breed of skilled right handed shot defenceman. He's been battling with a few injuries since his professional career started. Through the first 123 games of his NHL career, he managed 45 points and he's only 21 years old. He was the 6th overall pick in 2020.
