We are officially two months away from the National Hockey League's trade deadline for the 2023-24 season and the Vancouver Canucks are expected to be quite active leading up to the big day as they reportedly seek a top-six forward.

While a top-six forward might be the Canucks' target, they can never have enough depth at any position and according to reports, it appears that Allvin and his group are interested in Buffalo Sabres forward Jordan Greenway.

"Greenway is a player Vancouver has had their eyes on for a while, dating back to his days with the Minnesota Wild. At 6-foot-6 and over 200 pounds, Greenway would help add some size to a Vancouver forward group that needs more heft for a long playoff run." Thomas Drance and Rick Dhaliwal said.

Greenway, 26, is in the second year of a three-year deal that sees him earn $3 million AAV. In the third and final year of the deal, Greenway's contract will come with an eight-team no-trade list.

The Canton, New York native has appeared in 28 games for the Buffalo Sabres this season where he's put up ten points (three goals, seven assists), 23 penalty minutes and is a plus-one.

Do you think Patrik Allvin and the Canucks should try to acquire Jordan Greenway for depth? Let us know what you think in the poll below!
