LATEST | Bruins captain Brad Marchand already trolling and getting into Connor Bedard's head
On day two of the NHL season, the Boston Bruins took on the Chicago Blackhawks, beating them 3-1 in a pretty close game.
In the game, Connor Bedard scored his first NHL goal. The 18-year-old has once again met expectations as he has recorded a plan and assist while taking 11 shots in his first 2 NHL games. Bedard has not looked out of place at all.
Bruins top forward and pest Brad Marchand decided to mess with Bedard during the game. During a change, Marchand forced Bedard toward the Bruins bench while taking his stick.
Marchand was asked before the game if he would say anything to Bedard.
Marchand responded, "Nothing. He's a great player. You leave a guy like that alone."
It seems that Marchand changed his mind during the game, taking it to Bedard. To Bedard's credit, he kept playing through it and played a solid competition.
