MAJOR | Huge development regarding the former fifth overall and Vancouver native Kent Johnson in Columbus
There's been lots of news twirling around the Blue Jackets' former 5th overall selection and Vancouver native Kent Johnson.
The latest reports confirmed that the young gun had recently switched agents, and now there's been development in that regard since Johnson was just sent down to the Jackets' AHL affiliate:
''NHL → Minor
Kent Johnson (LW, C) | CBJ
#CBJ''
The author of 40 points in 79 NHL games in 2022-2023, he only managed 3 in 8 this year and spent some time on the press gallery. Johnson sending down the minors can only mean one of two things at this point. Either he and his agent have requested to be sent down so he sees more ice time, or a formal trade request is just moments away.
Is it time Allvin inquired about the price to acquire this local and highly talented player?
