12-Year-Old Gifted Hockey Player Natalia Moore Tragically Passes Away
The hockey community is once again in mourning as a 12-year-old girls hockey player Natalia Moore has tragically passed away, apparently by her own hand.
It seems that every week there is another terrible loss to the hockey world, and this time it comes after an announcement on Sunday when the community found out through a heartbreaking statement released on social media.
Hockey Community saddened by the tragic passing of Natalia Moore
As describes by her hockey team, Natalia Moore was just 12-years-old and already a 'gifted, spirited' young player who played tier 1 AAA hockey.
It is with heavy heart and deep sadness that we have to share the horrific news of the unexpected passing of former Wyandotte Warrior, Natalia Moore. Natalia started her amazing hockey career as Warrior and went on to play Girls with Fox Motors. Natalia was a very lively, spirited and gifted young athlete that will be so very much missed.

It is believed that after being bullied constantly her death came by her own hand.
Her parents and Tier 2 hockey team have put together a hashtag campaign to support Natalia and her family, #sticksoutforNatalia, where those who want to help and participate can share a photo on their social media with sticks outside of their front door with the hashtag, #sticksoutforNatalia.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of #26 Natalia Moore, a player on our 12U Girls Tier 2 team. We were so glad to have her in our program this season and enjoyed getting to know her. She was a great teammate and enjoyed playing forward.
