BREAKING | Quinn Hughes breaks another franchise record
It's been a record-breaking season for the Canucks' captain and nothing seems to be slowing him down.
ANOTHER RECORD IN THE BOOKS FOR HUGHES
Quinn Hughes added another franchise record to his resume. Currently second in league'd scoring with 33 points, behind only the Lightning's Russian machine Nikita Kucherov (35).
When he added another points to his already solid season during the game against the Sharks, Hughes became the defenseman to register the most points in the same calendar month and still has room to improve that mark since the Canucks have two more games before the end of the month still:
Quinn Hughes sets #Canucks franchise record for the most points in a calendar month by a defenceman (22)
The versatile defenceman is now up to 33 points after 22 games and on pace for 123 points. At his current pace, he would become the first defenceman the break 110-point since Paul Coffey had 113 in 1988-89 with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
