Frank Seravalli makes a confident statement on the Canucks
The Canucks have adopted their fair share of changes over the last year, starting with entirety of the coaching staff. When Allvin and Rutherford took over, they made it quite clear that they intended on taking this team back into the playoffs and back to their former glory.
ANALYSTS FINALLY HAVE POSITIVE COMMENTS
Frank Seravalli was on Sportsnet650 today and made a really positive observation on the team's future:
''The Canucks are a playoff team according to @frank_seravalli, do you agree?''
Seravalli listed the following reasons as to why he felt the Canucks were going to take part in the spring dance:
First off, a healthy Thatcher Demko. The netminder has proven to be elite when he's in his best shape and he definitely has the ability to take over a game all by him self.
Secondly, the teams defensive depth. Allvin added Ian Cole and Carson Soucy, they'll be getting a full season of Filip Hronek and we're probably going to be assisting our fair share of internal competition with guys like Jack Rathbone, Cole McWard and Akito Hirose pushing for a roster spot.
Third of all, Tocchet will be building a team that ressembles what he likes. A hard team to play against, whereas the previous lineups where way too easy to battle with.
Coming from the renowned insider, this has to mean something. This clearly shows that the Canucks' work doesn't go unnoticed and that Allvin's work is leading the franchise in the right direction.
