LATEST | Canucks announce a change regarding one of their top prospect Aatu Raty
The Canucks traded away their captain a few months ago and in return they acquired some valuable assets which included the second best prospect on their depth charts, Aatu Raty.
In his first North-American season, the Fin collected 27 points in 52 AHL games and was even given the opportunity to shine for 15 games in the NHL, 3 of which with the Canucks.
The Canucks proceeded to make an announcement today regarding the 2021 2nd Round Pick, formerly wearing number 27 in Vancouver, he's now switched to the jersey number 20 previsouly worn by Curtis Lazar.
Raty is currently taking parts in the Canucks' rookie camp where he is expected to dominate. In his second North American year, big things are expected of him. Once viewed as the top prospect of the 2021 Draft, Raty surely doesn't lack potential, the question remains will he be able to reach it? Can he be the top player the Canucks need him to be?
