With Thatcher Demko considered week-to-week with a lower body injury, Vancouver Canucks fans are as concerned as they've ever been about their star goalie.

The Vancouver Canucks will embark on a five game road trip starting Saturday on the heels of the 4 Nations Faceoff, but Thatcher Demko won't be joining them.

Fans sound the alarm bell around Thatcher Demko

With Thatcher Demko yet again suffering from a lower body injury, many fans of the Canucks have given up hope that the goaltender will ever be healthy enough to once again be a star.
Fans on Twitter sounded off about the news, and there wasn't a whole lot of optimism.

Other fans say they don't even believe the Canucks management group when it comes to sharing news on the injury to Demko.

While many still hope to see Demko in the crease long term, many have given up on the injury prone goalie.

Vancouver Canucks pay up for Kevin Lankinen

While Thatcher Demko has been a concern this season, his backup Kevin Lankinen has not been.
On Friday, the Canucks made it clear that he will continue to be an important part of the team, signing him to a lucrative five year extension.
