Brzustewicz, 18, is currently in his second year with the Kitchener Rangers and is looking to repeat his production from last season after putting up 57 points in 68 games.
The Kitchener Rangers are having a great start to the 2023-24 season and as of Saturday morning, sit second in the Midwest Divsion with a record of 3-1-0 in four games, only behind another Canucks prospect, Vilmer Alriksson, and the Guelph Storm, who are undefeated.
A big reason for the Rangers' success thus far is the play of Hunter Brzustewicz, who has done quite well on both sides of the puck. During Friday night's game against the Owen Sound Attack, Brzustewicz scored his first goal of the season and currently has six points in his team's first four games.
There's no doubt that if Brzustewicz continues his strong play over the next couple of months, he'll earn an invite from USA Hockey to their pre-World Junior camp and potentially even make the tournament roster.
As for the Kitchener Rangers, they'll be a team to watch in the OHL's Western Conference and are looking to bounce back after losing in the second round of the playoffs last season to the London Knights.
