LATEST | Canucks' prospect scores highlight reel goal: Makes a strong case for the goal of the month
The Abbotsford Canucks were playing the Laval Rocket this evening and the game gave lieu to an highlight reel goal. The 23-year-old Tristan Nielsen managed an impressive move and finished it off with a nasty backhand shot.
Abby Canucks' fans have been calling for this goal to be in contention for the AHL's goal of the month, despite the fact that we're only two days in:
Nielsen broke out last season when he collected 41 points in 64 games and he hasn't let up this year with 6 through his first 8 games.
