LATEST | Gary Bettman in attendance for Canucks' home opener: Special announcement coming?
The Canucks will have an exceptional guest in attendance tonight as they kick things off. Gary Bettman has announced he'd attend the Canucks' tilt against the Oilers.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT COMING?
There is no confirmation as to why the League's commissioner will be in attendance. However, he rarely attends games for no reason, and it is expected that he'll have to say something on the subject:
We're just moments away from this season's debut, and hopefully, the Canucks can kick things off with a better start. Rick Tocchet believes he has his men ready, and we're eager to see the result of this hardworking training camp.
